The primary goal of the independent Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), which was founded by Act of Parliament No. 7 of 1996, is to offer services in the fields of orthopaedics, traumatology, and neurosurgery. Additionally, MOI provides research, training, and capacity building on how to offer the community the best services possible.There are currently 362 beds in the hospital’s public-private mix.
